Election of working environment representative

The current election period is coming to an end, and on September 23, 2025, we officially begin the next chapter. That means it’s time to choose new employee representatives for the health and safety organization in both Det Nordjyske Mediehus A/S and Nordiske Medier A/S for the upcoming term.

The term lasts 3 years – giving you the chance to truly make a difference, improve the everyday work experience for your colleagues, learn a lot along the way, and maybe even become known as “that person who got both the cables and the coffee machine sorted.”

The Election – How It Works

When? From September 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM to September 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon
How? Fully digital and anonymous via SurveyXact. You’ll receive a voting link via SMS – just click, vote, done.
Results? Revealed on September 23, 2025 on budzonen.dk and omdeler.nordjyske.dk

Which positions are up for election?

Det Nordjyske Mediehus A/S:
• Editorial / Sales / Shared Functions
• Kystvejen / Distribution (incl. newspaper carriers)

Nordiske Medier A/S:
• Aalborg / Aarhus
• Copenhagen / Odense

Can you run for election?
Absolutely! If you:
• Have been permanently employed for at least 12 months as of September 1, 2024
• Work more than 10 hours per week on average
• Are not under notice of termination and not on long-term sick leave
• Belong to the health and safety group you’re running in

Note: Apprentices and managers with staff responsibility cannot run for election.

What does the role require?
You should be motivated to:
• Work with both physical and mental aspects of the work environment
• Take a broad and detailed view of things
• Collaborate across departments
• Help develop, improve, and ensure a great working day for everyone

In your day-to-day role, you might support a strong work environment by encouraging participation in engagement surveys, helping interpret the results, acting as a liaison to facility management together with your manager, contributing to health and safety-themed discussions, or organizing wellness activities for your colleagues.
